These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SOPStream website and the purchase of digital products from SOPStream (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by SOPStream, United Kingdom. By placing an order or downloading any product, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Scope of Services

SOPStream provides premium, professionally drafted Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) templates and document bundles in editable Microsoft Word (.docx) format. All products are digital downloads intended for business use. We do not provide legal, compliance, or professional advisory services; templates are provided as starting-point documents only.

2. User Obligations

By purchasing from SOPStream, you agree to:

Provide accurate information at checkout.
Use purchased templates solely in accordance with the licence granted below.
Not misrepresent the origin of any template or claim authorship of the original document.
Comply with all applicable UK and international laws in your use of our products.

3. Licence and Permitted Use

Upon purchase, SOPStream grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to:

Download, edit, and use the template(s) within your own organisation.
Adapt the content to suit your specific business processes.
Print or share internally within your organisation.

You may not:

Resell, sublicence, redistribute, or share the original or adapted template(s) with third parties outside your organisation.
Upload templates to any marketplace, template library, or file-sharing platform.
Remove or obscure any SOPStream branding or copyright notices from the original files.

Each licence is for a single organisation. Multi-site or enterprise use requires a separate agreement — please contact us.

4. Payment and Refund Terms

Payment

All prices are displayed in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where required. Payment is processed securely at checkout via Shopify Payments or other accepted payment methods. Your order is confirmed upon successful payment.

Refunds

Because our products are digital downloads delivered immediately upon purchase, we are unable to offer refunds once a file has been accessed or downloaded, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (Regulation 28(1)(b)).

Exceptions may be considered where:

A file is corrupt or cannot be opened, and we are unable to provide a working replacement.
The product delivered materially differs from its description.

To request an exception, contact us within 14 days of purchase at sopstream@outlook.com.

5. Data Protection Summary

SOPStream processes personal data (name, email address, billing information) solely to fulfil your order and provide customer support. We do not sell your data to third parties. Data is processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

SOPStream templates are provided “as is” and are not a substitute for professional legal, HR, or compliance advice.
We accept no liability for any loss, damage, or regulatory penalty arising from your use or adaptation of our templates.
Our total liability to you in connection with any purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product(s).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
